Mumbai: Godrej Enterprises Group has launched India’s first facial recognition-enabled home locker, NX Pro Ncrypt, marking a significant step in the evolution of smart security solutions for modern homes.

The launch was announced at Smart Home Expo 2026, where the company also showcased its connected home ecosystem powered by Advantis IoT9, demonstrating how intelligent systems can integrate seamlessly into everyday living.

The NX Pro Ncrypt combines facial recognition, biometric fingerprint access and digital PIN authentication in a single system, allowing users flexible security modes. Built on advanced AES encryption, the system converts facial data into secure digital templates rather than storing images, enhancing privacy and data protection.

Alongside the product launch, the company announced an investment of ₹100 crore over the next three years to accelerate the development of digital and connected security solutions, focusing on personalization, privacy and user convenience.

The company also introduced a ‘Made in India’ connected home app experience that enables automated responses within living spaces. With biometric access, home environments can adjust lighting, temperature and other settings based on user preferences, creating a more intuitive and responsive ecosystem.

Pushkar Gokhale, business head, security solutions business, Godrej Enterprises Group, said the company is focused on making security more accessible and user-centric as Indian consumers adopt connected lifestyles.

“We believe security should be intuitive and seamlessly integrated into everyday life. Our latest innovations are designed to combine advanced technology with ease of use, delivering solutions that respond to evolving consumer expectations,” he said.

In addition, the company unveiled a web-based access solution for connected hospitality locks, enabling secure guest entry through a digital link, aimed at simplifying check-in and check-out processes in hospitality environments.

The latest offerings reinforce the group’s strategy to position itself as a technology-driven player in the safety and security segment, expanding into smart living and connected infrastructure.
