Mumbai: Tata Consultancy Services has signed two memorandums of understanding with Siemens Energy AG and Siemens Energy India Limited to deepen collaboration across AI-led industrial transformation, digital infrastructure, and emerging technologies.

The partnership aims to combine TCS’ capabilities in AI, data, and engineering with Siemens Energy’s expertise in power generation, electrification, and grid technologies to drive intelligent operations, improve resilience, and support sustainable growth.

A key component of the collaboration is the development of AI-ready infrastructure. Siemens Energy India will support TCS’ HyperVault initiative, addressing the rising energy demands of next-generation data centres in India.

As part of the engagement, TCS will continue as a preferred IT partner to Siemens Energy, focusing on building agile, secure, and cost-optimized digital systems. The companies will also work on AI-driven factory modernization, including digital twins, predictive analytics, and integration of operational and information technologies to enhance productivity and operational insights.

Christian Bruch, CEO of Siemens Energy AG, said the partnership will help translate digital infrastructure innovation into scalable impact, with India playing a vital role in global growth ambitions.

K. Krithivasan, CEO of TCS, said energy and industrial enterprises are at an inflection point where AI adoption will define competitiveness, adding that the collaboration will enable smarter factories, connected enterprises, and resilient digital foundations.

Guilherme Mendonca, CEO of Siemens Energy India, said the partnership will support the development of reliable, low-carbon power infrastructure for AI-driven data centres.

The agreements build on a relationship spanning over two decades, with both companies now aiming to move from AI experimentation to enterprise-scale deployment through advanced analytics, GenAI, and intelligent automation embedded across core operations.

Tata Consultancy Services is a global technology services provider with operations in over 50 countries and revenues exceeding $30 billion.

Siemens Energy AG is a global energy technology company focused on enabling sustainable, reliable, and affordable energy systems worldwide.
