Pune-based non-profit unveils WOTR Consulting Forum to design measurable, climate-positive programmes for corporates, NGOs and FPCs; profits to be reinvested in community work.
Pune, November 12: The Watershed Organisation Trust (WOTR) has launched the WOTR Consulting Forum (WCF), a dedicated advisory arm to help organisations design and implement evidence-based CSR and sustainability programmes aligned with regenerative, climate-positive practices. All profits will be ploughed back into WOTR’s community initiatives, the organisation said in a statement on Wednesday.
WCF’s services span strategy and applied research, programme design and implementation, process and systems optimisation, monitoring and evaluation, capacity building and institutional development, and market linkages with technology access. The Forum will also strengthen governance and market connections for Farmer Producer Companies and is developing carbon-credit and social-enterprise models to align environmental responsibility with business goals.
Sandip Jadhav, director at WCF, said, “WCF brings together WOTR’s extensive and wide-ranging experience with strategic consulting expertise.”
Early projects include GIS and ESG training for a cotton-sector company in Pune, an M&E framework for organic farming with a Government of India body, and certification systems to help farmer groups secure premium prices for organic produce—positioning WCF at the intersection of market efficiency and social purpose.
