SINGAPORE: FMV Holdings Pte Ltd, the holding company of Fischer Medical Ventures Limited, has appointed Tay Chin Kwang as Group Director of Finance, Chairman Office, strengthening its leadership team to support the group’s long-term growth, governance and international expansion strategy.

In his new role, Tay will work closely with the Chairman’s Office to strengthen FMV Holdings’ financial strategy, corporate governance, investor engagement and strategic growth initiatives, while supporting the group’s expanding presence in healthcare, life sciences and technology-driven businesses.

Tay brings more than two decades of experience in strategic finance, fundraising, investor relations, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring and finance transformation. During his career, he has held senior finance leadership positions at several companies listed on the Singapore Exchange and advised businesses on fundraising, initial public offering (IPO) readiness, strategic partnerships and restructuring.

He has also worked closely with boards of directors, investors and executive leadership teams on finance strategy, capital raising, regional operations and cross-border expansion, including supporting fundraising initiatives for a China-based life sciences company focused on cancer treatment.

Commenting on the appointment, Ravindran Govindan, chairman of FMV Holdings Pte Ltd, said Tay’s extensive experience in strategic finance, investor relations, fundraising and corporate governance would strengthen the group’s financial discipline and strategic execution as it pursues new growth opportunities.
