H-Smart introduces smart living ecosystem with touch panels, automation scenes and wireless installation
Chennai: H-SMART, a premium home automation solutions provider founded by interior design entrepreneur Mathew Easow, has launched a range of smart living solutions aimed at homeowners seeking intelligent and aesthetically designed homes without the need for extensive rewiring.
Backed by more than a decade of experience through Hoop Pine Interior Concepts, H-SMART is bringing design-focused home automation solutions to homeowners across Chennai, Bengaluru and other parts of South India.
The company offers an integrated smart home ecosystem that combines custom glass touch panels, scene-based automation, motorised curtains, mood lighting and smart security systems into a single platform managed through a mobile application. The solutions are currently being deployed in key residential neighbourhoods including Anna Nagar, Adyar, T. Nagar, Besant Nagar, Velachery and ECR.
A key feature of the system is its scene-based automation capability, allowing homeowners to create customised settings for different situations. These include routines such as “Good Morning,” where lights gradually brighten and curtains open automatically, and “Movie Night,” where lighting and curtains adjust to create a home theatre ambience.
Unlike traditional home automation systems that often require dedicated communication cabling and structural modifications, H-SMART’s ecosystem operates over Wi-Fi, enabling installation in existing homes without additional wiring. The company says fully furnished homes can be upgraded with smart automation features without altering walls or interiors.
Speaking about the initiative, Mathew Easow, Founder of H-SMART Home Automation and Hoop Pine Interior Concepts, said the company was created to bridge the gap between elegant interior design and practical smart living.
“At Hoop Pine, we spent years creating beautiful interiors for homeowners across Chennai and Bengaluru. The conversation always turned to smart home features, but the solutions often required major rewiring. H-SMART was built to solve that challenge through solutions that are elegant, intuitive and non-invasive,” he said.
The company is also building a partner network of architects, interior designers and premium home studios across South India, enabling design professionals to integrate H-SMART’s automation solutions into their projects.
H-SMART’s smart home solutions are currently available for residential and commercial properties in Chennai, Bengaluru and other cities across South India.
