Consistent launches 16-port Gigabit Ethernet switch at ₹6999 MRP
The desktop switch offers 32Gbps switching bandwidth and plug-and-play installation for connecting computers, printers, IP cameras and storage devices across home and office wired networks.
NEW DELHI: Consistent Infosystems has launched its 16-Port Gigabit Ethernet Desktop Switch, model CT-DS-16PG, to expand wired connectivity in homes, offices and professional networking environments.
In a statement issued on October 8, the company said the switch carries an MRP of ₹6,999 and is available through its channel partners across India and online at shop.consistent.in.
The device provides 16 Ethernet ports supporting 10/100/1000 Mbps connections and a total switching bandwidth of 32Gbps. It can connect compatible equipment including computers, printers, IP cameras and storage devices.
Plug-and-play functionality allows installation without complex configuration. The switch also supports Auto MDI/MDIX, removing the need for crossover cables.
According to the company, the device includes lightning protection to help guard against electrical disturbances. It uses an external 12V DC, 1A power adapter and supports an operating temperature range of minus 20°C to 55°C.
The compact desktop unit has a black finish, a dark grey front panel and yellow accents, with ports arranged for access alongside existing networking equipment.
Yogesh Agrawal, chairman and managing director and co-founder of Consistent Infosystems, said the product was intended to simplify wired network expansion as homes and workplaces connect more devices.
