NEW DELHI: QualiZeal has appointed Sunil Upadrasta as vice-president and India head for its global capability centre (GCC) business, giving the segment dedicated senior leadership.

In an announcement issued on Tuesday, the quality engineering and AI assurance company said Upadrasta would lead client acquisition, market expansion and engagement with senior enterprise executives.

Upadrasta brings more than 23 years of experience across sales, business development, client engagement, delivery, digital transformation and profit-and-loss management. He has held leadership roles at Atos Syntel, Tata Consultancy Services and Reliance Retail, with experience spanning retail, financial services, healthcare, transportation and technology.

Co-founder, executive director and CEO Kalyan Konda said GCCs were taking greater ownership of products, platforms, quality and AI, creating demand for specialised technology partners. He said the appointment would strengthen QualiZeal’s ability to support these centres as they expand their capabilities.

Upadrasta said his focus would be on working with CXOs and enterprise leaders to translate strategic priorities into practical solutions with measurable outcomes.

QualiZeal said it has a workforce of more than 1,100 and serves over 70 global enterprise clients, including GCCs and Fortune 500 companies.

Its offerings include ValidAIte for AI assurance, QMentisAI for agentic quality engineering, and NexaAI for AI advisory and development. The company describes its approach as combining AI-supported quality processes with human oversight and evidence-based assessment.

Founded in 2021, QualiZeal is targeting $100 million in annual revenue under its Vision 2028 growth plan.
