Mumbai: Godrej Enterprises Group (GEG) has launched a new portfolio of Wi-Fi and 4G-enabled surveillance cameras as part of its strategy to strengthen its presence in India’s rapidly growing organised surveillance market.

The new range, introduced by the Security Solutions business of Godrej Enterprises Group, includes indoor security cameras, outdoor pan-tilt cameras, dome cameras and bullet cameras designed to offer seamless monitoring across residential, commercial and institutional environments.

According to the company, the launch reflects a broader shift in the surveillance industry, where customers are increasingly seeking integrated security experiences that combine ease of use, reliability, connectivity, data security and regulatory compliance rather than standalone hardware products.

Pushkar Gokhale, business head – Security Solutions, Godrej Enterprises Group, said the Indian CCTV surveillance market is at a critical stage of growth and is expected to cross ₹1,000 crore in the coming years.

“Customer expectations are evolving rapidly towards solutions that are intuitive, dependable and secure. At Godrej, we see security not as a standalone product, but as an integrated experience that delivers convenience, control and peace of mind,” he said.

The company said the Wi-Fi variants are designed for connected homes and businesses, while the 4G-enabled cameras, including smart and solar-powered variants, are intended for locations where broadband connectivity is limited or unavailable. The devices allow users to monitor premises remotely and maintain surveillance coverage even in remote areas.

Manufactured in India and certified under BIS-ER standards, the new portfolio is aimed at addressing growing customer concerns around product quality, cybersecurity, data protection and regulatory compliance. The company said the range aligns with increasing consumer preference for locally manufactured surveillance products that meet recognised standards.

Godrej said the launch represents its transition from offering standalone security products to building a connected security ecosystem that integrates intelligent surveillance with user-friendly monitoring experiences.

The company exports security solutions to more than 60 countries across Asia, Africa, Europe, the United States and SAARC markets and remains one of India’s largest manufacturers and suppliers of security products for banking, corporate and public sector institutions.

With demand for smart surveillance solutions rising across sectors, Godrej said it will continue to focus on innovation, local manufacturing and technology-led security solutions that support India’s growing digital and physical security requirements.
