HCA reforms gather momentum; Secretary Manney Jeevan Reddy focuses on transparency, modernization

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) has entered a new phase of reform and modernization under the leadership of its Secretary Manney Jeevan Reddy, signaling a shift towards more transparent and efficient governance.

Soon after assuming charge, Jeevan Reddy initiated a series of measures aimed at restoring credibility and strengthening the cricketing ecosystem in Hyderabad. The initiatives have been welcomed by players, clubs and other stakeholders, who have long called for structural improvements in the association.

Among the key reforms, HCA has introduced a digital player verification system linking records with Aadhaar to enhance authenticity and eliminate discrepancies. The association has also partnered with a sports technology firm to streamline operations, improve data management, and bring greater administrative efficiency.

Emphasizing inclusive governance, Jeevan Reddy has adopted an open-door approach, assuring stakeholders of accessibility and timely grievance redressal. He has also held consultations with affiliated clubs, encouraging cooperation to rebuild trust and ensure smoother conduct of leagues and tournaments.
