AI-driven drug discovery platform gains global visibility as Fischer Medical Ventures explores rollout of AI-enabled discovery ecosystem in India

Mumbai: NYB.AI, an artificial intelligence-powered drug discovery platform developed by Nanyang Biologics, has been featured in the opening showcase video of NVIDIA GTC Taiwan 2026, placing the company among a select group of startups highlighted ahead of NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang’s keynote address.
The inclusion is being viewed as a significant milestone for the platform, which combines artificial intelligence, computational biology and high-performance computing to accelerate early-stage drug discovery and molecular research. The NVIDIA showcase featured companies from the NVIDIA Inception ecosystem, a global startup network comprising more than 25,000 companies.
The recognition comes amid growing global interest in the use of AI-driven systems for life sciences, where advanced computational models are increasingly being deployed to support hypothesis generation, molecular screening and drug candidate identification.

He said the initiative is intended to create a foundation for introducing advanced computational biology capabilities into the country’s pharmaceutical and research ecosystem.
According to the company, Fischer Medical Ventures has been appointed the exclusive distributor in India for selected nutritional and wellness products developed within the Nanyang Biologics ecosystem. The first phase of the collaboration will focus on bringing scientifically developed nutritional formulations to the Indian market, subject to regulatory approvals.
The partnership also includes plans to evaluate opportunities for introducing elements of Nanyang Biologics’ AI-powered molecular discovery platform to India’s pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors. The proposed deployment would support research institutions and pharmaceutical companies engaged in early-stage drug discovery through AI-assisted molecular screening and data-driven compound prioritisation.
FMV said the initiative would be implemented through a phased approach aligned with regulatory requirements and industry collaboration standards. The company added that its long-term vision includes integrating AI-enabled discovery technologies with broader research and development ecosystems, potentially expanding into additional therapeutic research areas over time.
The collaboration also aims to contribute to capability building within India through talent development, expansion of computational biology expertise and stronger partnerships between academia and industry.
