Hyderabad, January 8: Axis Bank has successfully conducted SPLASH 2025, the 13th edition of its annual art, craft and literature competition, engaging students from more than 995 schools across India. Inspired by the bank’s brand philosophy dil se open, the nationwide initiative saw participation from over 2.66 lakh students on the theme “Dreams”, encouraging young minds to express imagination and creativity.

In the southern region, the competition was organised across 308 schools in cities including Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Guntur, Bagalkot, Visakhapatnam, Cuddapah and Nellore. More than 1.01 lakh students from the region participated, submitting entries under two age-based sub-themes — “A Day in My Dream Life” for children aged 7–10 years and “The Future as I Dream It” for those aged 11–14 years.

Aligned with the theme, Axis Bank also introduced the AI Dream Generator, an interactive digital tool designed to help children visualise and express their dreams. The platform enables participants to input their ideas and choose a preferred medium — art, craft or literature — to bring imaginative concepts such as futuristic cities, flying cars and fantasy worlds to life.

The competition will culminate with the selection of six national winners and six national runners-up. Winners will receive prize money of ₹1 lakh each, while runners-up will be awarded ₹50,000 each. They will also get the opportunity to attend a special art and craft workshop at Tashkeel, Dubai. The winning artworks will be showcased at the Museum of Art and Photography in Bengaluru. In addition, the top 400 qualifiers will receive merchandise and vouchers from partner brands including Ixigo and American Tourister .

Axis Bank said SPLASH continues to be a flagship platform for nurturing creativity and self-expression among school students, while reinforcing the importance of imagination, learning and confidence-building at a young age.

Axis Bank is one of India’s largest private sector banks, offering a full spectrum of services across corporate, SME, agriculture and retail segments, with an extensive domestic branch and digital presence across the country .
