Hyderabad: Founder and Chairperson of Women Empowerment Telugu Association (WETA) India, Hanumandla Jhansi Rajender Reddy, met Telangana Jagruthi founder-president Kalvakuntla Kavitha and formally invited her to the inaugural ceremony of WETA India, an organization dedicated to women’s empowerment, development and leadership advancement.

During the meeting, Jhansi Rajender Reddy handed over the invitation and briefed Kavitha about the vision and objectives of WETA, which has been successfully conducting activities for women’s empowerment in the United States and is now expanding its initiatives to India.

Speaking on the occasion, Jhansi Rajender Reddy said WETA India aims to create a strong platform for women from all walks of life to connect, learn and grow through leadership development, networking opportunities and empowerment programmes. She emphasized that the organization would function as a non-political platform focused solely on the advancement of women and called upon women from diverse backgrounds to participate in large numbers and contribute to the success of the initiative.

Kavitha appreciated the efforts of WETA in promoting women’s empowerment and leadership development. She observed that initiatives aimed at strengthening women’s participation and confidence play a crucial role in the overall progress of society. She also noted that efforts to nurture leadership qualities among women and provide them with opportunities for growth and self-development are both timely and commendable.

Extending her best wishes to the organization, Kavitha expressed confidence that WETA India would make a meaningful contribution towards the empowerment and advancement of women across the country. She wished success to the organization’s forthcoming programmes and activities.

The inaugural ceremony of WETA India is scheduled to be held on June 24 at 10 a.m. at Jubilee Hills Convention Centre in Hyderabad. The event is expected to bring together prominent women leaders, social activists, professionals and representatives of various women’s organizations from different fields.

WETA India seeks to promote women’s empowerment through leadership development, skill enhancement, networking opportunities and community engagement initiatives, creating a platform for women to contribute more effectively to social and economic development.
