Bengaluru: Schneider Electric has entered into a collaboration with luxury residential developer The Trilight to deploy smart home electrical and automation solutions across Trilight’s residential projects in India.

Under the partnership, Schneider Electric will provide a suite of home automation, energy management and electrical solutions tailored to Trilight’s residential developments. These include the company’s Wiser 2.0 home automation platform and Unica Pure switch ranges, aimed at integrating energy efficiency, safety and digital control into high-end housing projects.

Industry observers note that the collaboration reflects a broader trend in India’s residential real estate market, where developers are increasingly partnering with technology providers to meet rising consumer expectations for connected, energy-efficient and intelligent living spaces.

Sumati Sahgal, vice-president, home solutions at Schneider Electric India, said the partnership aligns with the company’s focus on making residential buildings safer, smarter and more energy-efficient, particularly as homebuyers place greater emphasis on long-term value and digital readiness.

Managing partners of Trilight, Sanjeeva Reddy and Sanjay Gulabani, said the developer views technology as a foundational element of residential design rather than an add-on, and that working with a global energy and automation company would help integrate proven systems into its housing projects.

Trilight’s development model, which emphasises control over execution from land ownership to project delivery, is expected to complement Schneider Electric’s focus on safe, efficient and sustainable energy systems in residential buildings.

The partnership also forms part of Schneider Electric’s wider engagement with India’s real estate ecosystem, where the company is working with developers, architects and design firms to scale up the adoption of smart and energy-efficient housing solutions.

Schneider Electric operates in more than 100 countries and provides energy management and automation technologies for buildings, data centres, infrastructure and industrial applications.
