Hyderabad: Mahindra & Mahindra Limited has launched its new Mahindra Rotavator series in Telangana, featuring a bold new look and enhanced mast design aimed at delivering heavy-duty performance and improved durability.
The new rotavator range will be offered under the heavy-duty category — Mahavator and Mahavator HD — spanning 4 to 9 feet. Developed based on market analysis and farmer feedback, the company said the series offers superior structural integrity, enhanced durability and improved stability for tough and uneven farm conditions.
Mahindra stated that the redesigned rotavators are built to handle heavy tillage operations and withstand wear and tear, while ensuring long-term reliability. The rollout will be phased across the company’s dealer network in Telangana.
Anusha Kothandaraman, vice president & head – international operations and business head – farm machinery, Mahindra Farm Equipment Business, said farm mechanisation plays a crucial role in improving productivity and that the new series is designed to combine superior performance with enhanced visual appeal and ownership pride.
The new range will gradually replace existing rotavator models, though the company will continue offering its broader product portfolio to cater to diverse farming requirements.
To mark the launch, Mahindra introduced limited-edition rotavators in tricolour-inspired hues — Metallic Orange, Everest White and Metallic Green — available in Mahavator HD, Supervator and Gyrovator ZLX+ variants.
Mahindra also highlighted its ‘Intelligent Rotavator’ branded Tez-e, a patented innovation integrated with Bluetooth technology that transmits real-time farm data to a mobile application, aimed at supporting precision farming practices.
Mahindra rotavators are manufactured at dedicated facilities in Nabha, Punjab and Zaheerabad, Telangana. The company is among the largest rotavator manufacturers in India, with products designed and tested to global standards to suit varied agricultural conditions.
