Revenue increased 16% to ₹78,750 crore, while international contracts accounted for 63% of quarterly order inflows. The consolidated order book reached ₹8.54 lakh crore.
Larsen & Toubro reported higher quarterly profit and record order inflows for the quarter ended September 2026.

NEW DELHI: Engineering and construction major Larsen & Toubro reported a 32.5% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit to ₹5,202.10 crore for the quarter ended September 2026, supported by higher revenues.
The company said in a statement on Tuesday that consolidated revenue rose 16% to ₹78,750 crore, driven by accelerated progress across its businesses. Net profit in the corresponding quarter a year earlier stood at ₹3,926.09 crore.
L&T secured orders worth ₹1,47,665 crore during the quarter, an increase of 28% over the year-ago period. Major wins came from offshore and onshore hydrocarbons, CarbonLite Solutions, public spaces and airports, and power transmission and distribution businesses.
International orders totalled ₹92,375 crore, accounting for 63% of the quarter’s total order inflow. The group’s consolidated order book stood at ₹8,53,514 crore as of September 30, 2026.
Chairman and Managing Director S. N. Subrahmanyan said the company recorded its highest quarterly order inflow despite an evolving geopolitical environment. He attributed the performance to customer confidence and L&T’s ability to secure large, complex contracts across sectors and geographies.
Focused execution across projects, products and manufacturing businesses supported revenue growth, he said, adding that the record order book provided revenue visibility over multiple years.
Subrahmanyan said L&T would continue investing in innovation, digital capabilities and technology-led businesses to sustain growth and create long-term value for stakeholders.
On the outlook, the company described the global economic environment as one of guarded optimism. It cited demand for AI data centres in several major economies and fresh investments in infrastructure, energy transition, technology and industrial capacity as supporting factors.
However, L&T flagged developments in West Asia as a source of downside risks to global growth and investment activity.
The company said it remained focused on operational excellence and technology adoption to improve productivity and competitiveness while navigating geopolitical uncertainties.
