New York/Noida: HCLTech and Pegasystems Inc. have announced an expanded strategic collaboration aimed at accelerating enterprise modernization through artificial intelligence-powered transformation of legacy systems into cloud-native applications.
The partnership combines HCLTech AI Force with Pega Blueprint to help enterprises automate modernization processes, reduce technical debt and improve operational efficiency using generative and agentic AI technologies.
According to the companies, the collaboration is designed to address growing enterprise challenges arising from outdated and siloed legacy systems that continue to increase operational costs, risks and inefficiencies across industries.
The integrated solution will enable organizations to automate discovery, documentation and transformation of legacy applications while accelerating migration to agile, AI-powered enterprise systems.
HCLTech said the solution focuses on end-to-end modernization rather than partial migration by generating future-proof application designs, automated workflows and migration-ready data structures.
The collaboration also incorporates industry-specific best practices developed through the combined domain expertise of HCLTech and Pegasystems.
Key features of the solution include AI-infused automation, seamless cloud adoption capabilities and AI-led modernization frameworks designed to improve scalability, resilience and operational agility for enterprises.
“Our long-standing partnership with Pega continues to inspire real innovation,” said Sadagopan Singam, Executive Vice President and Global Head of Enterprise Platforms and Edge Services at HCLTech.
“By combining HCLTech AI Force with Pega Blueprint, we are making legacy modernization faster, smarter and more accurate. This solution reflects our vision to lead in AI-driven transformation and deliver genuine business value with minimal disruption,” he said.
John Higgins, Chief of Client and Partner Success at Pegasystems, said enterprises increasingly require faster modernization while maintaining enterprise-grade security, scalability and transparency.
“By working with HCLTech and leveraging AI Force within Pega Blueprint, we’re helping clients accelerate application and workflow modernization with speed, quality and measurable outcomes,” Higgins said.
The companies said the collaboration would help organizations lower total cost of ownership, improve operational flexibility and unlock new business opportunities through AI-first enterprise models.
Headquartered in India, HCLTech operates across 60 countries with a workforce of more than 227,000 employees and reported consolidated revenues of $14.7 billion for the 12 months ending March 2026.
