Hyderabad: Singapore-based Optimum Solutions and Japan-based ABeam Consulting have inaugurated their jointly operated Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad, with plans to scale the workforce to 2,000 by 2030.

The integrated GCC is positioned as a key node in the companies’ global delivery network, bringing together engineering capability from Singapore and consulting expertise from Japan to support digital transformation programmes for clients worldwide.

The inauguration was led by Sreekant Lanka, chief strategy officer and chief relationship officer, department of information technology, electronics & communications (ITE&C), government of Telangana. Discussions with the leadership teams focused on the centre’s strategic priorities, talent roadmap and Hyderabad’s role in supporting high-value, enterprise-focused digital transformation.

The Hyderabad GCC will deliver services across AI, data engineering, cloud services, enterprise platforms, application engineering, digital solutions and business operations. Operating under joint governance with integrated teams, the centre is designed to provide unified, end-to-end transformation delivery from a single high-value location.

Lanka said Telangana’s predictable governance and strong talent ecosystem have enabled global organisations to build long-term plans in Hyderabad. He noted that the state will continue strengthening its ecosystem through talent initiatives, reliable infrastructure and supportive governance to ensure stability for global enterprises.

Hyderabad was selected for its deep engineering talent pool, stable policy environment and robust digital infrastructure. The companies plan steady hiring and partnerships with universities and skilling institutions for training programmes, curriculum collaboration and technology certifications.

Nanda Appanaboyina, GM – GCC, said Hyderabad provides an engineering talent base capable of handling complex, high-value technology work, adding that the centre will help build advanced capabilities in AI, cloud and digital platforms while attracting major Japanese multinationals to leverage the city for GCC services.
