Writesonic Unveils GEO Platform to Help Indian Businesses Win in AI Search
Unlike typical SEO dashboards, the Writesonic GEO Platform offers prescriptive recommendations across multiple dimensions—content freshness, off-page authority, and technical readiness.
New Delhi, October 6: Y-Combinator–backed Generative AI company Writesonic has launched its Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) Platform in India to help brands improve visibility in AI-driven search environments such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity.
The platform enables enterprises, startups, and agencies to identify the prompts and queries where their brands appear in AI answers, track competitors’ presence, and receive actionable recommendations to enhance their visibility and lead generation.
“With the rise of AI-powered search, discovery has changed forever. If you’re not part of the AI answer, you’re not part of the deal,” said Samanyou Garg, Founder and CEO of Writesonic. Citing internal data, he noted that 89 percent of B2B buyers now use AI platforms for research and often shortlist vendors without visiting their websites. “For Indian businesses, the first impression—and often the only impression—is now made inside AI answers,” he added.
As India’s digital economy expands, online visibility is becoming critical for enterprises and startups alike. Writesonic’s GEO Platform positions itself as a precision tool to help companies adopt Generative Engine Optimization practices early and secure a competitive edge.
Garg explained that success in AI search depends on regularly updating and structuring content, fixing technical barriers, and earning mentions on trusted third-party sites such as Wikipedia and Reddit. “We don’t just tell you where you’re missing. We guide you on exactly what to fix—whether it’s refreshing an outdated page, creating a new comparison article, or ensuring your brand is cited where competitors already appear,” he said.
Unlike typical SEO dashboards, the Writesonic GEO Platform offers prescriptive recommendations across multiple dimensions—content freshness, off-page authority, and technical readiness. The company says structured formats like listicles, product comparisons, and data-driven reviews perform best in AI search environments, while broken links, blocked crawlers, and JavaScript-heavy pages often hinder AI indexing.
Early adopters of Writesonic’s GEO methodology have reported a significant lift in AI-based lead generation, with discovery leads rising from 2.5 percent to 11 percent within weeks. Some brands improved their AI answer visibility from zero to four percent in under 20 days. AI-driven visitors, the company claims, convert three to eight times better than traditional web traffic.
“With GEO, we’re helping Indian enterprises turn invisibility into inclusion,” Garg said. “Those who act now will define how AI search shapes customer journeys in the years ahead.”
