Pune, December 18: iLink Digital has announced a significant expansion of its global investments in Microsoft Fabric, positioning the unified data and analytics platform as a core pillar of its Data and AI strategy, as Microsoft sharpens its focus on India as a priority market for cloud and artificial intelligence.

The company said the expanded investment is aimed at helping enterprises transition toward unified data estates, real-time intelligence and AI-driven decision-making through closer collaboration with Microsoft. iLink operates with over 3,000 professionals across 24 offices worldwide.

As enterprises increasingly move away from fragmented data architectures, iLink is doubling down on Microsoft Fabric as the foundation for building real-time intelligence, modern analytics and AI-ready platforms. The strategy includes investments in community building, Fabric evangelism, co-creation with Microsoft and deployment of production-grade enterprise solutions.

iLink said it is developing accelerators and enterprise-ready solutions across the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem, covering areas such as real-time intelligence, data governance, business intelligence modernisation, agentic AI and unified data platforms.

Recently, iLink participated as a Diamond Sponsor at FabCon Europe 2025 in Vienna, where it showcased a real-world enterprise deployment with football club SL Benfica. The implementation demonstrated how Microsoft Fabric enables real-time insights across match-day operations, event management and large-scale venue intelligence.

Alongside enterprise deployments, iLink is also investing in ecosystem development through Fabric Tour, a multi-city learning and collaboration platform focused on Microsoft Fabric. The U.S. edition of Fabric Tour, delivered in partnership with Microsoft and technology partners, was held across Seattle, Dallas and Atlanta, drawing developers, architects, students and enterprise leaders.

The Seattle edition featured a keynote by Arun Ulag, president of Azure Data at Microsoft, and attracted over 300 participants, while the Dallas event saw attendance cross 600.

Building on this momentum, iLink said Fabric Tour will expand to Bengaluru in early 2026, reflecting India’s growing adoption of unified data, analytics and AI platforms, as well as Microsoft’s continued investment in strengthening India’s cloud and AI ecosystem.

As a recognised Microsoft Fabric Featured Partner, iLink Digital has implemented Fabric in production environments for Fortune 500 companies across healthcare, retail, sports, manufacturing and logistics in the United States, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. The company has over 500 Microsoft Fabric-certified engineers and has received multiple Microsoft Partner of the Year awards across data engineering, cloud operations and AI categories.

Commenting on the initiative, Sree Balaji, Group Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of iLink Digital, said the company aims to build a global learning movement around unified data and AI. He said bringing Fabric Tour to India will help accelerate skills development, enterprise adoption and innovation in one of the world’s fastest-growing digital economies.

With data and AI moving from experimentation to enterprise-scale execution, iLink said its expanded Microsoft Fabric investments position it to help organisations convert unified platforms into measurable business outcomes across global markets.
