Hyderabad: The 18th edition of the Hyderabad Jewellery Pearl & Gem Fair 2026 (HJF 2026) will be held at HITEX Exhibition Centre on May 8 and 9, bringing together more than 350 exhibitors, 750-plus brands and over 8,000 trade buyers from across the country.
Positioned as South India’s leading B2B jewellery platform, HJF 2026 will introduce several high-impact features including the Jewellery Retail Symposium 2026, the Zaveri Bazaar Pavilion and specialised sourcing zones aimed at strengthening sourcing efficiency, retail innovation and business networking opportunities.
One of the major highlights of this year’s edition is the Jewellery Retail Symposium 2026, described as India’s first large-format retail-focused conference for the gems and jewellery industry. The two-day symposium will feature more than 20 industry leaders across structured panel discussions focusing on technology disruption, retail dynamics, bullion outlook, AI-driven customer engagement and premiumisation trends.
The symposium will feature prominent speakers including Paul J Alukkas, Amit Pratihari, Ashish Pethe, Nirupa Bhatt, Bharat Oswal and Chandu Siroya discussing changing consumer behaviour and retail formats. Experts including Vineet Jogani, Rishab Aryan, Jeevagan Prakash and Rakesh Bhan will focus on AI-powered digital transformation and data-driven retail strategies.
HJF 2026 will also introduce the Zaveri Bazaar Pavilion, bringing more than 25 established jewellery manufacturers from Mumbai to the South Indian market. Organisers said the pavilion is designed to offer direct access to ready-to-sell premium collections, competitive pricing and faster catalogue cycles for retailers.
The event will feature dedicated sourcing zones including a Machinery Pavilion, CAD Designer Zone, Silver Pavilion and Filigree Pavilion, catering to evolving manufacturing, customisation and traditional jewellery craftsmanship requirements.
Additional attractions include ‘Samvad with Renu Chaudhary’, an on-site podcast series featuring discussions on market trends and leadership, along with industry recognition initiatives such as the Shakti Awards, Power of Young and Legends of the South.
According to organisers, the fair has been strategically scheduled ahead of the festive and wedding season to help retailers and manufacturers finalise collections, identify suppliers and align inventories with changing consumer demand patterns.
Quoting data from the World Gold Council, the organisers noted that South India accounts for nearly 40% of India’s gold jewellery demand, positioning Hyderabad as a critical trade hub for the industry.
Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director, said the 2026 edition reflects the jewellery industry’s shift towards knowledge sharing, innovation and collaborative business ecosystems beyond transactional trade.
