Government Extends Application Window for Round 4 of PLI Scheme for White Goods till November 10 ’25
The application window for Round 4 of the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for White Goods (Air Conditioners and LED Lights) will remain open till November 10, 2025.
New Delhi, October 17: The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has announced the extension of the application window for Round 4 of the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for White Goods (Air Conditioners and LED Lights) till November 10, 2025.
Originally open from September 15 to October 14, 2025, the window has been extended in response to strong industry interest and the rising investment appetite under the scheme. The decision reflects the growing confidence among manufacturers and the continued momentum in domestic production of key components for ACs and LED lights under the PLI-WG framework.
The earlier rounds of the scheme have already attracted substantial investment commitments, resulting in the creation of new manufacturing capacities, employment generation, and greater localization across the white goods value chain.
Launched in April 2021 with a financial outlay of ₹6,238 crore, the PLI Scheme for White Goods aims to boost domestic manufacturing, promote component localization, and enhance India’s global competitiveness in the air conditioner and LED lighting industries.
Eligible applicants can submit their proposals online through the PLI portal at https://pliwg.dpiit.gov.in under the White Goods category by November 10, 2025.
