Udaipur: Eco Hotels & Resorts has expanded its hospitality footprint with the launch of its first boutique hotel property in Udaipur, marking the company’s entry into one of India’s fastest-growing tourism destinations.

The BSE-listed hospitality company said the new property, located at Govardhan Villas near Govardhan Lake, is part of its broader strategy to strengthen its presence in high-growth leisure and tourism markets while creating multiple revenue streams through accommodation, food and beverage offerings, events and experiential hospitality services.

The boutique hotel features premium guest rooms designed to provide a personalized hospitality experience and serves as the launch platform for two new hospitality concepts — EcoSip Café, the company’s first café brand, and “Kick In The Brick,” a double-deck rooftop restaurant and bar overlooking the Aravalli Hills.

Vinod Kumar Tripathi, Chairman of Eco Hotels & Resorts, described the Udaipur property as an important milestone in the company’s growth journey.

He said Udaipur offers significant long-term opportunities across leisure travel, destination weddings, celebrations and premium hospitality experiences. The new property reflects the company’s focus on creating experience-led destinations that combine personalized hospitality, quality dining and sustainable business practices.

The company is also introducing a distinctive guest-engagement initiative called “Bhajan Clubbing,” a morning programme that blends devotional music with social and wellness experiences. The concept is intended to showcase Rajasthan’s cultural heritage while strengthening the property’s positioning within the growing experiential tourism segment.

Vikram Doshi, Director Finance and Chief Financial Officer, said the project is expected to contribute to revenue growth through accommodation, food and beverage operations and events, while strengthening the company’s brand presence in a strategically important tourism market.

Udaipur continues to attract growing numbers of domestic and international visitors and remains a preferred destination for weddings, corporate events and leisure tourism, making it an attractive market for hospitality investments.

The launch forms part of Eco Hotels’ long-term expansion strategy focused on sustainable hospitality and experience-driven travel offerings. The company said it is evaluating additional growth opportunities across key tourism and business destinations in India.
