NEW DELHI: PRAMA India has launched iDADA, a smart security brand for homes and small businesses, introducing the Q2i 3MP Wi-Fi pan-and-tilt camera as its first offering.

In an announcement on October 21, the company said the brand would serve homes, offices, retail outlets and small office/home office setups through connected cameras with remote monitoring capabilities.

The Q2i offers 3MP resolution and 350-degree rotation. According to the company, its human auto-tracking feature detects human movement and rotates the camera to follow activity.

Other features include motion and noise detection, infrared night vision for black-and-white images in low light, and a built-in microphone and speaker for two-way communication.

The camera also includes a sleep mode with a lens shutter and supports local storage of up to 512 GB. Users can access remote viewing and camera controls through the iDADA PRO app, available on Google Play and Apple’s App Store.

PRAMA said the wider iDADA portfolio includes indoor and outdoor Wi-Fi cameras and 4G-enabled security cameras. The products are being rolled out nationwide through authorised retailers and system integrators.

A company spokesperson said future development would focus on AI-enabled monitoring, cloud-hybrid systems and smart home automation. The company did not disclose the Q2i’s price in the announcement.
