UPSC Invites Applications for Direct Recruitment to Multiple Government Posts
Online applications open till June 12 for vacancies across key Ministries and Departments
The recruitment drive includes vacancies for several Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’ posts across multiple departments and technical sectors.
New Delhi: Union Public Service Commission has invited online applications from eligible candidates for direct recruitment to various posts in different Ministries and Departments of the Government of India.
According to the Commission, detailed Advertisement No. 05/2026 along with eligibility conditions, vacancy details and application instructions has been uploaded on the official UPSC website.
The online application process commenced on May 23 and will remain open till June 12, 2026.
Interested candidates can apply through the Online Recruitment Application (ORA) portal available on the UPSC website.
The recruitment drive includes vacancies for several Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’ posts across multiple departments and technical sectors.
According to the recruitment notification, vacancies have been announced for posts including:
- Scientists and Scientific Officers
- Engineers and Technical Officers
- Lecturers and Assistant Professors
- Research Officers
- Administrative and Specialist positions
- Posts in organisations linked to civil aviation, meteorology, archaeology and defence sectors
The recruitment includes positions in departments and organisations such as:
- Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA)
- Indian Meteorological Department (IMD)
- Archaeological Survey of India (ASI)
- Ministry of Defence
- Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organisation (PESO)
- Other Central Government Ministries and Departments
UPSC said candidates are advised to carefully read the detailed notification and eligibility criteria before submitting applications.
