COIMBATORE: Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared glimpses from his interaction with students during the second episode of the ninth edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026, an initiative aimed at easing exam stress and encouraging holistic learning among students.

Welcoming students to the special edition of the programme, Narendra Modi said Pariksha Pe Charcha was held across different parts of the country this year, allowing broader participation. The Prime Minister interacted informally with Exam Warriors from Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat and Assam.

Recalling his interaction in Coimbatore, Narendra Modi said discussions ranged from startups and artificial intelligence to self-discipline and the dream of building a Viksit Bharat, reflecting the clarity and confidence of today’s youth.

Sharing his experience with students from Chhattisgarh, Narendra Modi noted that their questions highlighted a generation that is curious, thoughtful and socially aware. Topics included balancing academics with sports, environmental responsibility and the importance of leadership qualities.

The interaction in Gujarat, he said, went beyond exam preparation, with students expressing a strong desire to learn and grow with confidence. Discussions focused on managing pressure in critical situations and the role of teachers, while students also showcased traditional Warli, Pithora and Lippan art.

From Assam, Narendra Modi said conversations covered managing stress, avoiding unhealthy comparisons, building self-confidence and maintaining healthy routines. He added that students demonstrated a strong aspiration to succeed academically while remaining connected to their cultural roots.

Pariksha Pe Charcha is a flagship initiative that brings students, teachers and parents together to promote a positive and stress-free approach to examinations.
