NETSCOUT launches nGenius Copilot to help IT teams investigate service disruptions
The conversational AI tool lets teams query network and application data, identify affected users and services, and assess business impact through evidence-backed answers and supporting visualisations.
The solution draws on NETSCOUT Smart Data, contextual information derived from observed network, application, service and user interactions.

NEW DELHI: NETSCOUT has launched nGenius Copilot, a conversational AI extension to its nGeniusONE platform designed to help IT teams investigate service disruptions and assess their business impact.
Announcing the launch on October 1, the company said the tool is available for purchase and allows users to query operational data in natural language.
The solution draws on NETSCOUT Smart Data, contextual information derived from observed network, application, service and user interactions. It converts questions into answers accompanied by visualisations, supporting evidence and suggested follow-up enquiries.
Users can ask which applications are responding slowly, which locations or services are affected, and what network, server or external conditions may be contributing to a problem. The tool analyses the relevant data and presents its findings in plain language.
NETSCOUT said the product aims to help experienced engineers accelerate complex investigations while making operational information accessible to a broader range of professionals.
As organisations operate across increasingly complex hybrid environments, IT teams must connect evidence across applications, infrastructure, networks and external services to understand disruptions. The company said nGenius Copilot can help identify contributing conditions and show which users, services and transactions are affected, supporting decisions on where to prioritise resources.
Phil Gray, associate vice-president of product management at NETSCOUT, said the tool combines a conversational interface with the depth and context of Smart Data, helping teams examine evidence and collaborate around a consistent understanding of an incident.
The platform also translates technical findings into explanations and visualisations that network, application, infrastructure and business teams can use together.
NETSCOUT provides network observability, AI-assisted IT operations, cybersecurity and distributed denial-of-service protection solutions to enterprises, service providers and public-sector organisations.
