Mysuru, September 29: Excelsoft Technologies Limited, a pioneer in learning and assessment solutions, has launched a first-of-its-kind AI-powered toolkit designed to significantly cut classroom preparation time for teachers while strengthening student engagement.

Developed in collaboration with teachers and aligned to CBSE/NCERT standards, the toolkit addresses a critical gap in India’s classrooms—excessive time spent on lesson planning and exam prep, often at the cost of direct mentoring.

In its initial phase, the product includes four key tools:

  • Lesson Plan Assist – Creates CBSE-aligned, activity-rich lesson plans in under an hour, saving teachers 6–9 hours of work.
  • Quiz Generator – Builds adaptive, competency-based quizzes in just 20 minutes, cutting prep time by up to 80%.
  • Exam Preparation Assist – Customizes practice papers using CBSE past papers with adjustable difficulty, a process reduced from days to minutes.
  • Video Trimmer – Condenses long educational videos into concise, class-ready clips.

“Education is about preparing children for life, and that begins with empowering teachers,” said Adarsh Sudhindra, Vice President at Excelsoft. “The AI Toolkit frees teachers from routine prep work, allowing them to focus on mentoring and enriching classroom interactions.”

Sudhanva Dhananjaya, Chairman and Managing Director, added: “The National Education Policy 2020 emphasizes competency-based learning and assessments. Our AI Toolkit supports this transition responsibly—designed to strengthen, not replace, teachers’ roles in the classroom.”

Early pilots show teachers saving hours each week, with more time redirected to personalized learning and mentoring. The phased rollout will make the plug-and-play toolkit accessible across schools nationwide without heavy infrastructure requirements.

Future phases of the toolkit will extend support to students, parents, and school leaders. Planned features include an AI-powered doubt solver, personalized study companions, real-time learning progress trackers, and dashboards for monitoring curriculum alignment and teacher workload.

Founded in 2000, Excelsoft has been a trusted partner in the education sector for 25 years, serving more than 80 organizations globally and over 30 million end users. Its solutions power leading institutions including Pearson, AQA Education, Ascend Learning, and Excel Public School.
