Pariksha Pe Charcha has evolved into a nationwide movement: Dharmendra Pradhan
NEW DELHI: Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026 has set a new benchmark, crossing over 4 crore registrations and surpassing last year’s Guinness World Record of 3.56 crore participants, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said.
Addressing the milestone, Pradhan said the initiative has grown beyond an annual interaction into a nationwide movement focused on creating a stress-free environment for students. He urged students, described as Exam Warriors, to actively participate in the programme as the examination season approaches.
More than 4 crore students, parents and teachers had registered online for Pariksha Pe Charcha as of January 8, reflecting the programme’s expanding reach and relevance. The response highlights its growing role in addressing students’ mental well-being and encouraging a positive and confident approach to examinations.
Pradhan said students could ease exam-related anxiety through the Prime Minister’s guidance on confidence, focus and overall well-being, which has become a key feature of the programme.
Registrations for Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026 opened on December 1, 2025, on the MyGov portal. The initiative is organised annually by the Department of School Education and Literacy under the Ministry of Education and provides a platform for students, parents and teachers to engage directly with the Prime Minister.
With participation cutting across regions and age groups, Pariksha Pe Charcha continues to strengthen its identity as a people-driven movement centred on education, well-being and holistic development.
