New Delhi, January 9: Wenger, the Swiss maker of watches and travel gear, has launched its first fully e-commerce-enabled brand website in India, marking a strategic push to strengthen its direct-to-consumer presence in the country.
With the launch of www.wenger.co.in, Wenger becomes the first Swiss brand in its category to introduce a dedicated D2C digital platform for Indian consumers. The move is aimed at bringing the brand’s Swiss craftsmanship, precision engineering and design ethos closer to a fast-growing digital-first market.
Part of the Victorinox Group since 2005, Wenger has retained its distinct brand identity while continuing its legacy of Swiss innovation and reliability at an accessible price point. The new website provides direct access to the brand’s complete portfolio, including Swiss-made watches and travel gear designed for everyday use.
The platform features a clean and intuitive interface, offering secure payment options, reliable delivery, and after-sales support. In addition to core products, the website will host exclusive online collections, curated bundles, seasonal offers and brand-led storytelling highlighting Wenger’s heritage.
India remains a key growth market for premium lifestyle and travel accessories, and the digital launch is expected to enhance Wenger’s engagement with consumers while reinforcing trust and authenticity associated with Swiss brands.
Commenting on the launch, Debraj Sengupta, Managing Director – Sales & Marketing, Victorinox India, said the new platform enables consumers to access authentic Wenger products directly from the brand, strengthening its footprint in a market that values durability and quality alongside affordability.
Siddharth Mudaliar, National Manager – E-Business, Victorinox India, said the initiative is central to the company’s long-term digital and retail strategy for India, allowing deeper consumer engagement while making Swiss craftsmanship more accessible.
