New Delhi, October 24: The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has invited citizens across India to participate in a Logo Design Contest for the National Green Hydrogen Mission (NGHM) — an initiative aimed at showcasing India’s commitment to clean energy, self-reliance, and global leadership in green hydrogen production and innovation.

The winning entry will receive a cash prize of ₹1,00,000 and a certificate of recognition from the Mission Director, NGHM. In addition, 10 runners-up will be awarded ₹5,000 each. The winner will also be reimbursed for round-trip domestic airfare to New Delhi.

Logo to Symbolize India’s Green Hydrogen Vision

The contest seeks a logo that reflects the spirit of the mission — to make India the global hub for production, usage, and export of green hydrogen and its derivatives. The design should represent innovation, sustainability, self-reliance, and the multi-sectoral applications of green hydrogen, including its role in steel, transport, fertilizer, shipping, and petrochemicals.

The NGHM envisions a comprehensive action plan for establishing a robust green hydrogen ecosystem, leading to deep decarbonization, reduced dependence on fossil fuel imports, and the advancement of clean technology leadership, the ministry said in a statement.
