India MedTech Expo 2025 to Showcase ‘Precision, Yet Affordable’ Innovations at Bharat Mandapam on Sept 4–6

New Delhi, September 4: The Department of Pharmaceuticals, in association with the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, the Export Promotion Council for Medical Devices (EPCMD) and CDSCO, will host the second India MedTech Expo 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan from September 4–6 under the Bharat Health 2025 umbrella.

Union Health & Chemicals and Fertilizers Minister JP Nadda and MoS (Commerce & Industry; Electronics & IT) Jitin Prasada will inaugurate the three-day showcase themed “India: Global MedTech Manufacturing Hub — Precision Engineering yet Affordable.” Senior officials including Amit Agrawal (Secretary, DoP), Nitin Kumar Yadav (Addl. Secy, Commerce), P. Krishnamurthy (Chairman, NPPA), Dr Rajeev Singh Raghuvanshi (DCGI) and RP Singh (JS, DoP) are slated to participate.

What’s on show

  • Six pavilions: MSME, Future, R&D, Government, State and Start-up.
  • Scale: Organisers describe it as India’s largest medical device showcase with 500+ companies; the floor will feature 350+ exhibitors across specialized zones.
  • Global buyer program: 150+ delegates from 30+ countries (ASEAN, Africa, CIS, Middle East, Oceania) for B2B meetings and Reverse Buyer–Seller Meets.
  • Program mix: Thematic conferences, CEO roundtables, fireside chats, state-led sessions, regulator open houses, and experience zones.
  • Knowledge partners: Experts from IITs, IISc, AIIMS, ICMR, NITI Aayog and the World Bank.

Sector outlook

India’s medical devices market is ~$15 billion and projected to reach $30 billion by 2030, said Praveen Kumar Mittal, Executive Director, EPCMD, noting 800+ MedTech start-ups and a fast-growing manufacturing base. The expo, he said, aims to catalyse partnerships that expand innovation, exports and access—advancing India’s Vision 2047 in MedTech.

The event will spotlight use-cases across diagnostics, implants, consumables, digital health and manufacturing technologies, alongside state showcases pitching investment opportunities in medical device parks and clusters.
