The logistics company has brought more than 4,000 users and over 700 operating units onto an integrated finance platform, automating accounting and procurement processes across its distributed operations.
Allcargo moved from legacy on-premises systems to support its expansion and the need for more consistent processes across its operations.

MUMBAI: Allcargo Logistics has reduced its month-end financial close time by 30% after adopting Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications to standardise finance processes and automate routine work, according to a company announcement.
A statement issued by the company on Wednesday said the implementation had brought core financial operations onto a single platform, improving reporting, operational visibility and controls while reducing manual processing.
Allcargo moved from legacy on-premises systems to support its expansion and the need for more consistent processes across its operations. The company serves customers in sectors including e-commerce, automobiles and pharmaceuticals.
Chief Information Officer Sanjay Khiyani said more than 4,000 users and over 700 operating units had been brought onto the integrated platform. He said the deployment provided a foundation for using AI to simplify work and support growth.
Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning has helped Allcargo standardise and automate finance activities, according to the statement. Oracle Fusion Cloud Procurement, part of the ERP suite, has also enabled automation across procurement processes and a consistent view of purchasing activity.
The implementation was managed by Grant Thornton Bharat, an Oracle PartnerNetwork member.
Shailesh Singla, Vice President for Cloud Applications at Oracle India, said AI and agentic applications could help logistics providers automate routine tasks, allowing employees to focus on decisions requiring human judgement.
The announcement did not specify the previous duration of Allcargo’s month-end close or provide a breakdown of the AI capabilities deployed. The reported 30% reduction relates to the time taken to complete the monthly financial closing process.
Oracle said its broader Fusion Agentic Applications portfolio is designed to coordinate and execute work within organisational policies, controls and delegated authority. Its AI Agent Studio allows customers and partners to create and manage agents using enterprise data.
