Fischer Medical Ventures to Bring AI-Driven Molecular Research Platform to India Following NVIDIA GTC Recognition
Strategic partnership with Nanyang Biologics aims to strengthen AI-powered drug discovery and pharmaceutical innovation ecosystem
The recognition places NYB.AI among a select group of innovators within NVIDIA's global Inception ecosystem, highlighting advances in artificial intelligence, computational biology and next-generation scientific research.

Hyderabad: Fischer Medical Ventures Limited (FMVL) has announced that its strategic partner, Nanyang Biologics, has earned international recognition after its artificial intelligence-powered molecular research platform, NYB.AI, was featured in the opening showcase at NVIDIA GTC Taiwan 2026, ahead of the keynote address by NVIDIA Founder and CEO Jensen Huang.
The recognition places NYB.AI among a select group of innovators within NVIDIA’s global Inception ecosystem, highlighting advances in artificial intelligence, computational biology and next-generation scientific research. For Fischer Medical Ventures, the development reinforces its strategic partnership with Nanyang Biologics and supports its plans to introduce advanced AI-enabled molecular research capabilities to India’s pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors.
The company believes artificial intelligence will play a transformative role in accelerating drug discovery, reducing research timelines and improving the efficiency of pharmaceutical innovation. Building on India’s global leadership in pharmaceutical manufacturing, Fischer Medical Ventures aims to help create an AI-enabled research ecosystem capable of supporting the discovery of new therapeutic molecules and strengthening indigenous research capabilities.
As part of its collaboration, Fischer Medical Ventures will serve as the exclusive distributor in India for selected Nanyang Biologics technologies and scientifically developed plant-based nutraceutical products, subject to applicable regulatory approvals. The initial phase of the partnership will focus on introducing nutraceutical formulations designed to support cardiovascular health, liver health and overall wellness, while laying the foundation for future collaborations with pharmaceutical companies, universities and research institutions.
At the centre of the collaboration is Vecura, Nanyang Biologics’ advanced molecular research platform powered by state-of-the-art atomistic artificial intelligence models, including Meta FAIR’s Universal Models for Atoms (UMA). Through a secure no-code environment, the platform enables researchers to simulate molecular behaviour, predict material properties and perform high-throughput computational analysis, potentially accelerating therapeutic discovery while reducing the complexity traditionally associated with molecular modelling.
Commenting on the milestone, Ravindran Govindan, Chairman of Fischer Medical Ventures Limited, said the recognition of NYB.AI at NVIDIA GTC Taiwan validates the technological strength of the company’s strategic partner.
He said India possesses exceptional scientific talent, a globally respected pharmaceutical industry and a rich heritage of botanical knowledge. By combining these strengths with advanced artificial intelligence, the country has an opportunity to accelerate innovation, strengthen research capabilities and contribute to the discovery of therapies addressing unmet medical needs.
Svetlana Rao Raviwada, Whole-Time Executive Director of Fischer Medical Ventures Limited, said the partnership extends beyond technology transfer and aims to build an AI-enabled life sciences ecosystem that promotes collaboration among academia, research institutions and the pharmaceutical industry.
She said advanced platforms such as Vecura would provide Indian researchers with world-class AI-powered molecular research capabilities, helping accelerate scientific discovery and foster innovation across healthcare and life sciences.
Headquartered in Andhra Pradesh with its manufacturing facility at the Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone (AMTZ), Visakhapatnam, Fischer Medical Ventures has been expanding its portfolio in medical diagnostics, digital health and AI-powered healthcare technologies. Through its subsidiary, Time Medical International Ventures (India) Private Limited, the company became the first Indian manufacturer recognised by the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) for indigenously manufacturing MRI systems. Its broader portfolio includes AI-powered cancer and tuberculosis screening software, preventive healthcare kiosks, handheld X-ray devices, digital health platforms and other advanced medical technologies.
The company said its long-term collaboration with Nanyang Biologics aims to strengthen India’s capabilities in AI-driven pharmaceutical research through partnerships with academia, industry and research institutions. By integrating artificial intelligence with India’s pharmaceutical expertise and scientific talent, the initiative seeks to support the country’s emergence as a global hub for innovation-led healthcare and next-generation therapeutic discovery, subject to scientific validation and regulatory approvals.
