Ramesh Kumari Appointed Additional Judge of Punjab and Haryana High Court

New Delhi, August 19: The President of India has appointed judicial officer Ramesh Kumari as an Additional Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court.
The appointment was made under the powers conferred by the Constitution of India, following consultation with the Chief Justice of India, the Ministry of Law and Justice said on Tuesday.
Kumari’s elevation adds strength to the Punjab and Haryana High Court, which has been facing a significant backlog of cases. Legal experts said the appointment reflects the government’s continued focus on expediting judicial appointments to improve the delivery of justice.
