New Delhi, August 2: The majestic Amrit Udyan at Rashtrapati Bhavan is all set to open its Summer Annuals to the public from August 16 to September 14, 2025, offering a unique blend of heritage, horticulture, and immersive sensory experiences. Visitors can explore the expansive gardens between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM, with the last entry permitted at 5:15 PM. The Udyan will remain closed on all Mondays for maintenance.
Special Access Days for National Celebrations
In a thoughtful gesture, sportspersons will receive special access on August 29, marking National Sports Day, while teachers will be honoured with exclusive entry on September 5, on the occasion of Teachers’ Day.
Entry Guidelines and Facilities
Entry and exit will be facilitated through Gate No. 35, near North Avenue Road. While entry is free, visitors must book slots online at visit.rashtrapatibhavan.gov.in or use Self-Service Kiosks placed outside the gate for walk-in registration.
Permitted items include mobile phones, electronic keys, purses, handbags, water bottles, baby milk bottles, and umbrellas. Visitors are advised to avoid carrying any additional items for hassle-free entry.
Explore the Garden Trail and New ‘Babbling Brook’ Zone
This year’s garden trail features an impressive circuit that includes:

- Herbal Garden
- Bonsai Garden
- Central Lawn
- Long Garden
- Circular Garden
In a tech-enabled twist, QR codes placed across the trail will provide interactive access to information about the flora and garden design elements.
A new highlight for 2025 is the “Babbling Brook”, a landscaped zone curated for a deeply immersive experience, featuring:
- A meandering water stream with cascades, sculptural spouts, stepping stones, and a raised reflecting pool
- A tranquil Banyan Grove with reflexology paths, Panchtatva trails, and forest-inspired soundscapes
- A serene Herbal and Plumeria Garden with curated plantations, grass mounds, and multisensory elements
