PNC Infratech Secures ₹3489 Crore Mining Services Contract from South Eastern Coalfields

Five-year project to handle overburden removal, coal extraction, and transport at Gevra OCP Expansion Project in Chhattisgarh
New Delhi | August 1: PNC Infratech Limited, a leading infrastructure construction and development company, has announced that it has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) for a major mining services contract valued at ₹3,488.86 crore (inclusive of GST). The announcement was made through a formal communication to the BSE and NSE on Friday.
The contract pertains to “Handling, Transport and Other Mining Services – Hiring of HEMM (Heavy Earth Moving Machinery) for Overburden Removal and Coal Extraction by Surface Miner, and Loading and Transportation of Extracted Coal” for the Gevra Open Cast Project (OCP) Expansion in the state of Chhattisgarh.

In the disclosure, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer Tapan Jain stated that the order falls fully within the company’s domestic operations and that none of the promoter or group companies have any vested interest in SECL.
The contract is expected to strengthen PNC Infratech’s order book and enhance revenue visibility over the medium term, given the project’s long duration and scale.
