Ultraviolette, Bolt.Earth Expand Type-6 Fast Charging Network Across India
130+ DC fast chargers operational across seven states; 200 more planned amid rising electric motorcycle demand
The interoperable charging infrastructure is compatible with Ultraviolette’s X-47 and F77 electric motorcycles and is integrated across both Ultraviolette and Bolt.Earth digital platforms.

Bengaluru: Ultraviolette Automotive and Bolt.Earth have announced a major expansion of their interoperable Type-6 DC fast-charging network, with more than 130 chargers now operational across seven Indian states as the country’s electric mobility ecosystem gains momentum.
The companies said the rollout has already exceeded the original deployment commitment of 50 chargers by more than two times ahead of schedule, driven by growing demand for electric motorcycles and increasing focus on energy security and cleaner transportation infrastructure.
The charging network is currently operational across Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Telangana and West Bengal, improving charging accessibility for electric two-wheelers and strengthening India’s interoperable EV infrastructure ecosystem.
As part of the next expansion phase, an additional 200 Type-6 DC fast chargers are expected to become operational over the next two months.

The interoperable charging infrastructure is compatible with Ultraviolette’s X-47 and F77 electric motorcycles and is integrated across both Ultraviolette and Bolt.Earth digital platforms, enabling features such as real-time charger discovery, charging session monitoring and integrated payment capabilities for riders.
Niraj Rajmohan, Co-founder and CTO of Ultraviolette, said the rapid expansion reflects both the company’s growing rider base and the broader rise of India’s electric two-wheeler market.
He noted that recent global crude supply volatility has reinforced the importance of resilient electricity-led mobility infrastructure and emphasised that interoperable charging networks would play a critical role in enabling long-distance usability and accelerating EV adoption in India.
Mohit Yadav, Founder of Bolt.Earth, said the accelerated rollout demonstrates the pace at which India’s EV ecosystem is evolving and highlighted the company’s roadmap to deploy 10,000 Type-6 Blaze DC chargers over the next two years.
The deployment includes both newly installed chargers and upgrades to existing Bolt.Earth infrastructure to support Ultraviolette motorcycles, significantly improving charging convenience and route flexibility for EV users.
Founded in 2016, Ultraviolette has emerged as one of India’s prominent performance electric motorcycle manufacturers and has expanded exports to several European countries. Bolt.Earth, founded in 2017, currently operates one of India’s largest EV charging networks with more than 100,000 chargers deployed across over 2,000 cities.
