Union Minister Jayant Chaudhary leads Knowledge Exchange Mission to the Philippines
Jayant Chaudhary, the Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship and Minister of State for Education
New Delhi, October 21: Jayant Chaudhary, the Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship and Minister of State for Education, is leading a Knowledge Exchange Mission to the Philippines from October 20–22, 2025, with support from the World Bank.
The high-level Indian delegation includes senior officials from the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship and representatives from Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Telangana.
The mission will involve strategic meetings with key Philippine institutions, including:
- Department of Migrant Workers (DMW)
- Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA)
- Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)
- Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA)
The visit seeks to promote knowledge exchange and the sharing of best practices in skills development, labour mobility, and data-driven policy frameworks.
This mission highlights the growing cooperation between nations of the Global South, aiming to foster mutual learning and contribute to sustainable, inclusive growth through skills development and entrepreneurship.
