Jaipur: Rajasthan-based real estate developer Manglam Group has announced a ₹350 crore investment to develop a 220-key Sheraton Hotel in partnership with Marriott International on the Jaipur-Ajmer Highway, strengthening its presence in the state’s fast-growing hospitality sector.
The project, spread across more than 3 lakh square feet, marks Manglam Group’s third collaboration with Marriott International and forms part of the company’s broader ₹1,000 crore hospitality investment roadmap.
The agreement was signed on Wednesday in Jaipur by Amrita Gupta, Director of Manglam Group and CEO of Manglam Spa and Resorts, and Rajeev Menon, President, Asia Pacific (excluding Greater China), Marriott International, in the presence of David Marriott, Chairman of the Board, Marriott International, and N.K. Gupta, Founder and Chairman of Manglam Group.
Strategic Location Along Emerging Growth Corridor
The proposed Sheraton Hotel will be located on the Jaipur-Ajmer Highway (NH-48), one of the city’s fastest-growing development corridors connecting Jaipur with Ajmer, Pushkar and Kishangarh while offering convenient access to Jaipur International Airport.
The location also benefits from proximity to Mahindra World City Special Economic Zone, a major industrial and business hub that continues to generate corporate travel and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) demand. Combined with increasing residential and commercial development along Ajmer Road, the corridor has emerged as a preferred destination for hospitality investments.
Capitalising on Jaipur’s Wedding and Tourism Boom
The new property is expected to strengthen Jaipur’s position as one of India’s leading destinations for weddings, leisure travel and large-format events.
Sheraton, one of Marriott International’s globally recognized brands, is known for hosting celebrations, gatherings and business events. The partnership seeks to combine Sheraton’s international hospitality standards with Manglam’s vision of creating destination-led hospitality experiences rooted in Rajasthan’s cultural heritage.
The hotel is being designed as a luxury hospitality destination featuring premium accommodation, contemporary guest experiences and interiors inspired by Jaipur’s rich artistic traditions and cultural identity.
Expanding Hospitality Portfolio
With the addition of the Sheraton property, Manglam Group is steadily building a hospitality network across Jaipur’s major growth corridors.
The company already has hospitality interests including Westin Jaipur on Delhi Road and Fern by Marriott in Jagatpura near the airport. Together with the new Sheraton Hotel on Ajmer Road, these developments are intended to support Jaipur’s growing demand for leisure tourism, wedding destinations, business travel and events.
Diversification Beyond Real Estate
Founded in 1995, Manglam Group has completed more than 125 projects covering over 6.2 crore square feet and serves more than 41,000 customers. As it completes three decades in the real estate sector, the company is increasingly diversifying into hospitality, entertainment and healthcare.
Its hospitality business operates under Manglam Spa and Resorts, while the company is also expanding its healthcare presence through the Manglam Plus Medicity Hospital initiative.
Industry observers note that the investment reflects growing confidence in Rajasthan’s tourism and hospitality potential, particularly as Jaipur continues to attract domestic and international visitors for cultural tourism, destination weddings, business events and luxury travel experiences.
