Neuberg Diagnostics Partners with Vijaya Medical Centre to Strengthen Diagnostic Network in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana

Visakhapatnam, October 28: Neuberg Diagnostics, one of India’s fastest-growing diagnostic chains, has announced a strategic partnership with Vijaya Medical Centre, a Visakhapatnam-based diagnostics institution with over four decades of regional trust and excellence. The collaboration aims to build a unified diagnostics ecosystem across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana by integrating Neuberg’s global technological expertise with Vijaya’s deep-rooted local presence, according to a company press release on Monday.
Founded in 1985 by Dr Suman Kalagara, Dr Madan Kalagara, Dr Suryanarayana Koppaka, and Dr Satyanarayana MTVV, Vijaya Medical Centre operates from a 1.5 lakh sq. ft. facility in Visakhapatnam’s Health City, offering comprehensive pathology, radiology, and preventive wellness services under one roof. With 18 operational centres across eight cities in Andhra Pradesh, the centre has earned a legacy of trust built on precision diagnostics and patient-first service.
Under the new partnership, Neuberg’s existing facilities in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will merge into the Vijaya Medical Centre brand within the next 60 days, creating one of the largest integrated diagnostics networks in the Telugu states. Neuberg operates pathology laboratories in 10 cities—including Hyderabad, Warangal, Karimnagar, Vijayawada, Guntur, and Nellore—and plans to expand the Vijaya network from 18 districts to all 59 districts across both states within two years.
Dr GSK Velu, Chairman and Managing Director of Neuberg Diagnostics, described the collaboration as a milestone in the company’s national expansion. “By combining Neuberg’s global expertise and AI-driven technology with Vijaya’s 40-year local legacy, we aim to redefine the diagnostic landscape of the Telugu states. Our goal is to make high-end diagnostics more accessible and affordable while expanding genomics, molecular biology, and personalized healthcare capabilities,” he said.
Vijaya Medical Centre’s founders, Dr Madan Kalagara, Chief of Pathology, and Dr Suman Kalagara, Chief of Radiology, will lead the merged operations across the two states as Managing Directors. They will be joined by co-founders Dr Suryanarayana Koppaka and Dr Satyanarayana MTVV, who will continue as directors guiding the network’s next growth phase, the company said.
Speaking about the merger, Dr Madan Kalagara said, “For over four decades, Vijaya Medical Centre has been synonymous with reliability and precision. Our association with Neuberg Diagnostics represents a powerful synergy that combines regional trust with global technology leadership. This integration will enable us to offer advanced services in genomics, metabolomics, and preventive care across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.”
Echoing the sentiment, Dr Suman Kalagara added, “Becoming part of Neuberg marks a significant milestone in our journey. With Neuberg’s advanced infrastructure, we plan to expand our radiology and nuclear medicine services to new cities, strengthening early diagnosis and preventive healthcare.”
