BENGALURU: Ultraviolette has launched a comprehensive rider training academy covering track and off-road riding, becoming, according to the company, the first electric two-wheeler manufacturer worldwide to launch such a structured training and certification platform.

The academy brings together Ultraviolette’s two established riding programmes, Into the Wild for the X-47 and Track Attack for the F77, under a unified rider-development platform. Both programmes will offer progressive Level 1 to Level 3 training combining classroom instruction, practical sessions, assessments and certification.

Into the Wild will focus on off-road riding and navigating technical terrain, while Track Attack will develop track-riding skills and introduce participants to performance riding and motorsport fundamentals.

The programmes will be led by certified instructors who include National Champions and will combine theoretical learning with practical sessions at controlled racetracks and off-road training environments. The curriculum will cover motorcycle dynamics, braking, throttle management, body positioning, cornering, line selection, terrain assessment, obstacle handling, emergency response and safe riding practices.

Narayan Subramaniam, CEO and Co-Founder, Ultraviolette, said the academy was designed to give riders a structured pathway to build skills in both performance riding and technical off-road riding. He said the company’s focus on performance engineering, including the F99 superbike, had led to the development of the certified rider training programme as a step towards electric motorsports in India.

Track Attack will cover racing lines, braking points, corner entry and exit, throttle control, body positioning, track positioning, overtaking awareness, lap consistency and performance analysis. Track safety, flag protocols, protective equipment, pre-ride motorcycle checks and circuit awareness will also form part of the programme.

Into the Wild will focus on motorcycle control across loose and uneven terrain, including balance, throttle and brake control, off-road cornering, terrain assessment, obstacle navigation, motorcycle recovery and responsible trail practices. The level of difficulty will increase as riders progress through the programme.

At Level 1, riders will learn fundamental techniques, motorcycle control and safety principles. Level 2 will introduce greater technical complexity, while Level 3 will focus on advanced techniques and higher-intensity track or off-road riding. Each level will include defined learning outcomes, theoretical and practical instruction and a structured assessment. Certification and progression will be based on demonstrated competence rather than participation alone.

Ultraviolette said it plans to build a year-round training calendar across a growing network of racetracks and off-road destinations in India. The first Level 1 Into the Wild session is scheduled in Bengaluru on August 23, 2026, followed by a Track Attack session on September 27.

Founded in 2016, Ultraviolette develops electric vehicle platforms and battery technology and has expanded its motorcycle exports to 19 European countries. The company said it was the first Indian electric manufacturer to secure European certification for its motorcycles.
