Hyderabad Cricket Association Announces Senior and Junior Selection Committees for 2026–27 Season

The newly appointed committees will oversee player selections for all HCA-represented tournaments and age-group events during the upcoming season.

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) on Monday announced the constitution of its Senior and Junior Selection Committees for the 2026–27 cricket season. The announcement was made in the presence of HCA Secretary Manney Jeevan Reddy and former India cricketer Ambati Rayudu.
The newly appointed committees will oversee player selections for all HCA-represented tournaments and age-group events during the upcoming season.

“We are confident that the experience and integrity of the appointed members will ensure a fair, transparent, and merit-based selection process. The HCA remains committed to nurturing talent and strengthening cricket across all levels in the region,” he said.

Former India cricketer Ambati Rayudu welcomed the appointments and said the committees comprise a strong blend of experienced former cricketers capable of identifying and supporting emerging talent in Hyderabad cricket.

“It’s heartening to see a strong mix of experienced former cricketers on these committees. Their understanding of the game will be key in identifying and backing the right talent for Hyderabad cricket. I wish both panels the very best for the season ahead,” Rayudu said.

The HCA congratulated all committee members and wished them success for the upcoming season.
