Mumbai: Eco Hotels and Resorts Limited has entered into a strategic partnership with Riya Travel & Tours to expand its global reach and strengthen distribution capabilities across domestic and international markets.

The collaboration will enable Eco Hotels to tap into Riya Group’s extensive B2B ecosystem, which connects over 75,000 travel agents through its proprietary platform, Riya Connect, significantly enhancing the brand’s visibility and market access.

As part of the partnership, Eco Hotels’ portfolio will also be integrated with Riya Holidays, the group’s leisure travel vertical, allowing the company to reach a wider and more diverse customer base across curated travel offerings.

Chairman of Eco Hotels and Resorts Limited, Vinod Kumar Tripathi said the partnership marks a key milestone in the company’s strategy to scale its sustainable hospitality model and expand access to eco-conscious travel experiences.

He said the collaboration with Riya’s distribution network and technology platforms will help Eco Hotels enter new markets while promoting responsible tourism.

The partnership aligns with Eco Hotels’ asset-light and distribution-led growth strategy, aimed at improving occupancy levels, enhancing revenue per available room (RevPAR), and expanding brand reach without significant capital investment.

The company is also expected to benefit from Riya’s strong presence in the corporate travel segment, particularly in Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE), which is likely to support year-round room occupancy and banquet business growth.

Industry observers note that such partnerships are becoming increasingly important in the hospitality sector, as companies look to scale through distribution networks and digital platforms rather than capital-intensive expansion.

The alliance underscores Eco Hotels’ focus on leveraging strategic collaborations to drive growth, while strengthening its positioning in the evolving travel and tourism landscape, they added.
