Vedika Prakash Shetty: Alia Bhatt’s Ex-PA Arrested for Fraud

Vedika Prakash Shetty, former personal assistant to Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt, has been arrested by Juhu Police for allegedly embezzling over ₹76 lakh from Alia’s personal accounts and her production house, Eternal Sunshine Productions Pvt. Ltd.
The fraud came to light after Soni Razdan, Alia Bhatt’s mother, filed a police complaint in January 2025, citing financial irregularities. Shetty was tracked down in Bengaluru and taken into custody.
Between May 2022 and August 2024, Vedika allegedly created forged bills, got them signed by Alia, and transferred funds into her own accounts. Authorities are now reviewing her bank transactions.
Vedika worked as Alia’s PA for over two years, handling her schedules, business dealings, and operations at Eternal Sunshine before their association ended in 2024.
Founded by Alia Bhatt in 2021, Eternal Sunshine focuses on emotional, meaningful cinema. Its debut film, Darlings, was co-produced with Red Chillies Entertainment and released on Netflix to critical acclaim.
