NEW DELHI: Dr Supriya Ratna Kumar Goudiperu has announced the launch of a new global trade and development initiative under GK Exports and Imports, an international platform designed to expand market access for Indian products and strengthen global trade partnerships.
The initiative, unveiled on Monday, seeks to leverage the international network of GK UN Inc., USA, and GK NAAM Educational and Charitable Trust to promote exports of agricultural produce, khadi and traditional handloom products, pharmaceuticals, industrial and manufactured goods, and sustainable eco-friendly products.
According to the announcement, the programme aims to establish a global supply network connecting Indian farmers, artisans, manufacturers and entrepreneurs with buyers and business partners across international markets. The initiative also seeks to encourage investment, innovation and sustainable economic development through cross-border collaborations.
The organisation said it currently collaborates with partners in 28 countries and operates through 15 branches across 15 Indian states. It plans to work with governments, investors, exporters, manufacturers, cooperatives, Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) and development agencies to expand India’s global trade footprint.
The initiative outlines a broader vision of promoting ethical international trade, economic empowerment and long-term global cooperation. Its mission focuses on creating market opportunities for Indian producers while encouraging fair trade practices, transparency, innovation and sustainable business models.
The announcement also highlights the role of GK NAAM Educational and Charitable Trust, which states that it is a registered civil society organisation with the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA), a permanent partner on the United Nations Partner Portal (UNPP), and registered with the United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM).
Dr Supriya Ratna Kumar Goudiperu, who serves as Chairman and Managing Director of GK NAAM Educational and Charitable Trust, said the initiative is intended to create stronger international partnerships that support Indian enterprises while contributing to inclusive and sustainable development.
Through GK Exports and Imports, the organisation aims to facilitate international business collaborations, enhance export opportunities for Indian products and build a global ecosystem that supports shared prosperity, employment generation and sustainable economic growth.
