RAV Conducts National Training on Agnikarma, Rakta-Mokshana Therapies

New Delhi: Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth (RAV) organised a two-day national-level hands-on training programme on the para-surgical Ayurvedic therapies Agnikarma and Rakta-Mokshana on February 26–27 at the AIAC Seminar Hall in Dhanwantari Bhawan, West Punjabi Bagh.

The programme brought together leading experts, practitioners and scholars from across the country for intensive practical training and clinical demonstrations aimed at strengthening the application of classical Ayurvedic therapies.

Among the distinguished participants were Mukul Patel, President of the Medical Assessment and Rating Board for Indian System of Medicine (MARBISM) at the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM); Hemant Panigrahi, Incharge Director of the Central Ayurveda Research Institute (CARI); Ravi Gogia, medical officer at MCD Gianchand Joshi Ayurvedic Panchkarma Hospital; Chandramouleeswaran P., principal of Government Ayurveda College and Hospital, Coimbatore; and Santosh Bhatted, head of the department of Panchkarma at the All India Institute of Ayurveda.

The training focused on providing intensive practical exposure, live clinical demonstrations and in-depth understanding of Agnikarma and Rakta-Mokshana, two specialised para-surgical therapies described in classical Ayurvedic texts.

Experts conducted step-by-step demonstrations and guided participants through the clinical applications of these therapies, enabling practitioners to strengthen their diagnostic skills and treatment techniques.

Organisers said the initiative helped enhance the clinical competence of participants and reinforced RAV’s commitment to advancing Ayurvedic education, skill development and the preservation of traditional therapeutic practices in India.
