Telangana CM Revanth Reddy Orders Report on T-Fiber Progress, Calls for Expedited Completion

Hyderabad, August 20: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has directed officials to submit a comprehensive report on the status of the state’s ambitious T-Fiber project, with a clear action plan to complete the works at the earliest.

Reviewing the project at his residence on Monday night, the Chief Minister instructed officials to issue notices to the contract firms engaged in the execution of T-Fiber works and sought details on their performance and manpower deployment. He emphasized that accountability must be fixed to ensure timely progress.

Reddy stressed that the primary goal of T-Fiber is to provide affordable and reliable internet services to every household across villages in Telangana. He asked officials to prepare a detailed action plan that not only outlines the remaining works but also includes expenditure incurred so far, fund mobilization for completion, and steps to make the programme a success.

“T-Fiber should aim at delivering better services to people and bridging the digital divide,” the Chief Minister said.

The review meeting was attended by IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu, Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao, Principal Secretary to CM V. Seshadri, Special Chief Secretary Jayesh Ranjan, IT Special Chief Secretary Sanjay Kumar, T-Fiber MD Venu Prasad, and other senior officials.
