Bengaluru: Ultraviolette Automotive has announced its entry into Central Europe through a strategic partnership with Elektrorider, marking a significant expansion of its global footprint.

Under the agreement, Elektrorider will serve as the official importer and distributor for Ultraviolette in Hungary, Croatia, Slovakia, Romania, Slovenia and the Czech Republic, taking the company’s presence to 19 European countries.

The expansion is part of Ultraviolette’s broader strategy to position itself as a global electric mobility brand, building on its existing presence across key European markets including Germany, France, Spain and the UK.

Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of Ultraviolette, Narayan Subramaniam said the partnership represents a pivotal step in the company’s global growth journey, as it enters some of the world’s most demanding motorcycling markets.

He said the company aims to bring aviation-inspired design, advanced technology and high-performance electric motorcycles to riders across Central Europe, while building a comprehensive ecosystem covering product experience and after-sales support.

As part of the rollout, Ultraviolette will introduce its flagship electric motorcycles, including the F77 MACH 2 and F77 SuperStreet, in the new markets.

Chief Operating Officer of Elektrorider, Attila Pavuk said the partnership combines India’s high-tech EV innovation with deep regional expertise in Central and Eastern Europe, enabling strong market entry and customer engagement.

Ultraviolette, founded in 2016, focuses on advanced electric vehicle platforms and battery technologies, with a design philosophy inspired by aerospace engineering. The company has already secured European certification for its motorcycles, becoming one of the first Indian EV manufacturers to achieve this milestone.

Industry observers note that the move reflects the growing global ambition of Indian EV startups, particularly in high-performance segments, as they look to compete in mature international markets.

With increasing demand for sustainable mobility solutions across Europe, the expansion is expected to strengthen Ultraviolette’s position in the global electric motorcycle segment while advancing India’s “Make in India for the World” vision.
