Hyderabad, October 1: The Hartford, a Fortune 200 US-based insurance company, has announced the opening of its new India Technology Center in Hyderabad’s Financial District, underscoring its commitment to advancing artificial intelligence and digital innovation.

The center, located on the top two floors of Kalyani Trident, features collaboration zones, state-of-the-art workstations, and training facilities designed to foster innovation and continual learning. A “history wall” celebrates The Hartford’s 200-year legacy while symbolizing its blend of heritage and forward-looking vision.

“The true strength of The Hartford has always been its people,” said Chief Information Officer Shekar Pannala. “This technology center in Hyderabad will be a magnet for talent in India, building new digital and AI capabilities and shaping the future of insurance technology.”

Jeff Hawkins, The Hartford’s Chief Data, AI and Operations Officer, added that the Hyderabad team will apply advancements in data, AI, and emerging technologies to expand the company’s capabilities while maintaining high standards of ethics and integrity.

Hyderabad was chosen for its skilled technology workforce and reputation as a global innovation hub. The facility will complement The Hartford’s US technology centers in Hartford (Connecticut), Chicago (Illinois), and Charlotte (North Carolina), as part of a global expansion strategy.
