Scindia Launches AI-Powered India Mobile Congress 2025 App; Registrations Open for ‘Innovate to Transform’ Edition

New Delhi, September 2: Union Minister of Communications and DoNER Jyotiraditya M. Scindia on Monday unveiled the AI-powered mobile app for India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025, calling the platform “not just an event, but a platform of possibilities.” He added, “With this app, we are turning those possibilities into connections, collaborations and outcomes.”

The ninth edition of IMC will run October 8–11, 2025 at Yashobhoomi Convention Centre, Dwarka, New Delhi. The launch ceremony was attended by MoS Dr Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani, DoT Secretary Dr Neeraj Mittal, COAI DG Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Dr SP Kochhar, and IMC CEO P. Ramakrishna.

What the IMC 2025 app does

  • Live streams & schedules: Real-time session streaming with calendar sync to keep participants on track.
  • IMC Suggests (AI concierge): Personalized recommendations for sessions, networking and F&B zones based on user interests.
  • Networking tools: In-app connections, chats and meeting requests for delegates, exhibitors, startups and partners; dedicated pathways for startup–investor matchmaking.
  • Snippet (AI video highlights): Auto-generated short clips from popular sessions for easy sharing on social media.
  • Co-Pilot chatbot: Instant answers on speakers, session details, venue logistics, parking, Wi-Fi and local transport.
  • Engagement features: In-app photo booth with AI gallery search, plus live polls and contests.

Scindia said the app reflects a design ethos that is “intelligent, interactive and inclusive,” ensuring a seamless experience “from students to CEOs.”

Big tent for deep tech

IMC 2025 will showcase 1,000+ use cases across 5G/6G, AI, IoT, quantum, cybersecurity, semiconductors, clean tech and smart mobility, alongside policy dialogues and industry showcases. The event is co-hosted by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI).

Registrations are open for delegates, startups, media, academia and students at the official site: indiamobilecongress.com.
